More about Caryn…
My name is Caryn Rich. My passion in life is helping women (and couples) struggling through their own Infertility Journey while still keeping their sanity. I share with them some helpful tools to navigate their way out while providing encouragement, and sprinkling in a bit of humor. If you’re looking for a friend to help you through this time in your life, I would love to work with you too!
You see, I went to the school of hard knocks and came out with a PHD in life. I too have struggled to make it through seemingly hopeless situations. I grew up in a dysfunctional family skewing my worldview and affecting my early relationships.
After my self-awakening and overcoming the issues imprinted on me by my upbringing, my lifelong dream of having my own family went off the rails. I struggled through 5+ years of Infertility treatments and 15+ ART cycles. The emotional roller coaster of getting excited with each IVF try and then either getting a negative result or miscarrying 5x at times felt like too much to handle.
I was determined though to never get off that ride. I finally got pregnant, with TWINS, only to lose one after a severely traumatic premature delivery. I spent the next 6 months on yet another rollercoaster ride in the NICU, wondering if my surviving twin would ever make it home with me. But I employed the power of my positive thought. I refused to listen to any nay-sayers, including the doctors, when they told me first that I shouldn’t even try to birth her, and second that she would ever make it, and let me tell you, I willed that baby home.
But mine is not a story of despair. It’s a story of success, of overcoming the odds.
I found a way to push through each one of these situations, to push through the pain and the sadness to make it to the other-side, each time becoming a better, stronger, more self-aware human being. It’s how I found myself, my motivation, my passion and ultimately my purpose. I know that YOU can too!
When I’m not supporting my clients, I love reading the latest book on organizing, scrolling through Pinterest for my next DIY craft and snuggling with my hubs, 3 kids, black lab and kitties.
If you’re dying to know more, here are 3 things most people don’t know about me:
I’m obsessed with pens, I literally have hundreds!
I love Hello Kitty and have taught my girls to love her world too.
As a way to escape our infertility struggles, I fell in love with Vampire books and steamy Mommy novels – never met one I DIDN’T like.
Going through infertility treatments is challenging. One of the most helpful things I recommend to all my clients is journaling. It can help rid your brain of negative thoughts and feelings and help with your stress levels.
